It Hit Me Like a Ton of Bricks!! I couldn't believe...
When my own mother evicted me out of my house that I paid for every month! I needed somewhere to live and the house next to my mom came open for rent. So, it seemed like a great idea at the moment and the rent was only 425.00 a month. It was a decent 2br/1bath home with a huge yard by the lake. I moved and rented from the lady that sold my mom her home. I didn't have to put up a deposit, which was great!! I had lived for about 6 months or so and my mom decided to buy the propert since I was living there. I had to start paying my mom rent, which was fine. I had everything in my name and paid all of my bills on time, especially my rent because I know how my mother can be. I was working at the Hilton Hotel making decent money and then started bartending at The Twisted Spoke. I made great money there so paying the bills was no problem. Well, I met my baby daddy (lol) and he moved in with me because I would not move out of my house. Well, working with my mother in a bar was never a good idea because of all of the drama and drinking. I was also going to school at the time. I finished school and got a great job at the hospital, so my bar days were pretty much over and didn't hang out with my mom as much and she didn't care for that. Always trying to get me to come out and party with her. Well, she started a bunch of shit with my fiance, Allen, and started acting really childish. She refused to help fix anything in the house or help with the cost or labor that I was doing so I could live in a decent home. Well, one day we got in a huge fight and the next thing I know she had went to the court system and got an emergency eviction notice to have me and Allen out in 10 days. I couldn't believe she had actually done this to me and at the time I had 5 dogs and people don't rent to people who have dogs, so finding somewhere new to live was quite difficult, especially in the span of 10 days. We had to get rid of 2 dogs and ended up moving to Homeland Park (lol), as far away from her as possible. Needless to say, we didn't speak for a long time. I honestly should have seen it coming, this was definitely not the first time she had seriously screwed me over. So, this is probably why I strive to the best mother as possible and vow to never treat my child the way I was. God love her though!
